James Adams Obituary

James F. Adams 81 of Newark passed away Thursday June 16, 2022 at Select Specialty Hospital in Newark. He was born August 4, 1940 in Zanesville a son of the late Howard Adams and Julia Mayle Ranson. He was a member of Christian Fellowship Church in Nashport where he ran the Light Food Pantry. James Served his Country and Protected Our Freedoms in the United States Army.

James is survived by his son Andrew (Trenda) Jones of Zanesville; one sister Sandra Adams; two grandchildren Brynlee and Braylon Jones and his special friend Larry Shiflett.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Robert Adams.

Friends may call from 12-2pm on Monday June 20, 2022 at the SNOUFFERFUNERLHOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE, OH. Funeral services will be held at 2pm in the Snouffer Chapel with Rev. Tom Moore officiating.
