James Farrell Obituary

James Rolland Farrell, 89 of Zanesville passed away on Tuesday January 26, 2021.

Jim was born in Wellsville, Ohio on July 28, 1931 to the late Celestine and Alice Rushton Farrell. He retired from American Electric Power-Conesville Power Plant after 28 years of dedicated service. He was a member of LaFayette Lodge #79 F.&A.M., Valley of Cambridge A.A.S.R., York Rite, Amrou Grotto #45,Knight Masons of Ireland, American Legion Post 29, and V.F.W. Post 1058. He served our country and protected our freedom in the United States Navy.
He is survived by his loving wife Gladys Cole Farrell, six children: Gary (Alana) Farrell, Jim Farrell, Kay Farrell, Mary Jones, Larry Farrell, and David Farrell, a sister in law: Brenda Farrell, a close family friend Lisa Sparger, 14 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Dr. William Farrell and three great-grandchildren.
