Jan Kay (Shumate) Cramer-Miller of Sebring, Florida, formally of Zanesville.
The Lord came to take Jan to heaven on December 1, 2022, following a brief illness.
Jan was born on June 12, 1955, to parents Arthur (Jim) and Joan (Hooper) Shumate. She was a 1973 graduate of Maysville High School and the Mid-East Area Joint Vocational School as a State Board Licensed Cosmetologist. She also worked for McGraw Edison Power Systems Division as a Payroll Clerk and the Zanesville Dollar General Warehouse as a Receiving Supervisor II.
Jan was a very loving and kindred soul, always helping others in any way she could. Much liked and loved by all that knew her. She always had a smile on her face or a spiritual or comforting word to say. She was a very strong advocate in caring for her dad for 29 years prior to his death in 2022. She always put herself last to make certain everyone else was taken care of first, so giving and unselfish.
Jan is survived by her loving husband, James Allen Miller; brother Craig (Karen) Shumate; sisters: Kristie (John) Mills and Kathe (Allen) Milatovich; numerous nieces and nephews; and many very loved and special friends.
Preceding her in death was her much loved husband Edward A. Cramer (2012); her parents; brother Jay Kim Shumate; grandparents: Arthur and Amelia Shumate and William and Velma Hooper.
Jan has requested no calling hours be observed and a cremation has taken place in Sebring, FL. Jan will be laid to rest in Zanesville Memorial Park at a later date.
THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE has the distinct honor of serving the Miller family.
