ZANESVILLE
Janet Louise Stapleton, 85, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Genesis Morrison House. She was born April 23, 1936 in Zanesville to the late Harvey A. and Edith E. Graves Flowers. She was employed as a salesperson for Elder Beerman and Stanley Home Products. Janet was a Girl Scout Leader of two troops. She enjoyed going to Hillbilly Park. Her family built Flowers Hall in Hanover; it was known to attract legendary country music singers from across the country.
Surviving are her children: Mary Lou Snack, Ted L. (Julie) Campbell, Richard A. (Debbie) Campbell, Susan (Tom) Dunn, Pam Lunsford, Nancy (Edwin) Campbell and Dawn (Robert) Carter; 24 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild; two great grandchildren and her brothers: Victor L. Flowers, Gene E. Flowers and Roland L. Flowers.
Calling hours will be from 10AM to 1PM Monday, November 8 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. The service will begin at 1PM in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Jim Graham. Burial will follow in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
