Janice Eileen Jones, 71 of Zanesville passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Genesis Hospital. She was born March 16, 1948 in Zanesville a daughter of the late William Eldean and Doris Eileen Geyer Knowlden. She was a lover of nature especially birds and animals and was a member of Cornerstone Church.

Janice is survived by her husband of 39 years Edward Jones ; two sons Robert (Teresa) Knowlden and Richard (Mary) Knowlden; brothers Dean (Janie), Dan (Jill), Jeff (Carol), Steve, Wayne (Linda) and Howard Knowlden; sisters Becky Knowlden and Adele (Larry) Gray; one step-son Tye (Stephanie) Jones; grandchildren Austin and Cole Knowlden and Noah Merideth and one great grandson Ryker Knowlden. Several nieces and nephews who were very close to her heart.

No calling hours or services will be observed at this time. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
