Jean Luman Obituary

Jean Eleanor Luman, 95 passed away February 18, 2018. She was born August 18, 1922 in Zanesville, to the late Charles and Olive Morris Conkle. Jean was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, crafts, crossword puzzles and traveling. She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.

She is survived by a son Patrick Luman; two daughters: Kathy Luman and Rita Rucker; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Roger Luman Sr.; a son Roger Luman; two brothers: Charles Conkle and Harry Conkle; nine sisters: Virginia O’Brien, Goldie Danhaurer, Eva Houk, Mildred Leeth, Lillian Kochensparger; Betty Ross, Leola Conkle, Lulu Conkle and Dolly Conkle.

Calling hours will be held from 10 to 11AM Saturday, February 24, 2018 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE, where services will begin at 11AM in the Snouffer Chapel. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
