ZANESVILLE
Jerald B. “Jerry” Dews, 79, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Genesis Hospital. He was born November 3, 1942, in Newark to the late Bennie Aubrey and Dorcas Adrey Binckley Dews. He had a bachelor’s degree in business from Ohio University and was retired from McGraw Edison/Cooper Industries. Jerry loved to golf with his buddies in Georgia and South Carolina. He was a past member of the Elks. He was a former owner and operator of the Six Mile Turn Dairymart and also worked for Wilfred C. Baker Realty Company.
He is survived by his wife Tammy Tysinger Dews; two sons: Ty Engle and Tab Engle; two grandchildren: Samuel Lee Engle and Gracie Lynn Engle; and his furbabies: Mia, Spike and Milo.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Aubrey Dews and his furbaby Miko.
Graveside services will be held at 1PM Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Jim Lee officiating.
