John Robert Craven

John Robert Craven, 81, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021. He was born August 8, 1939 in Columbus to the late Edward and Beulah Hawley Craven. He was an electrician for Owens Brockway and enjoyed riding his Honda Goldwing motorcycles. John served our country and protected our freedom in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his sons: Robert Craven, Matthew Craven and Jay Craven; a daughter Jeanette Osborn; a step son Richard Gee; and a step daughter Bethlyn Gee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Edna Craven; a brother Ronald (Barbara) Craven; a sister Sandy Zaayer; and a special aunt and uncle Cathryn "Babe” and Carl “Bones” Deibel.

Visitation will be from 11AM to 1PM on Friday, February 26, 2021 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. The funeral service will begin at 1PM with Lee Biles officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park with full Military Honors by the VFW Post 1058 and American Legion Post 29.
