Joyce "Birtie" Alberta Shreve

Joyce Alberta “Birtie” Shreve, 64, of Zanesville, entered into her heavenly home early Wednesday morning, July 22, 2020. She enjoyed sitting across the kitchen table from her mom playing Yahtzee, working on jigsaw and crossword puzzles, while the TV was tuned onto the Ion Channel with the volume at the highest setting. She had many conversations over the years with her friend and bird, Pepper. Birtie was unique, one of a kind and she was who God created her to be. Her heart was full of love for her family and especially for children. She greatly missed her mom, Jane, but they are now reunited and sitting across the heavenly table enjoying God’s eternal promises. Birtie will be greatly missed by her family that loved her so much.

She is survived by her siblings: George (Starla) Shreve, Robert Shreve, Cheryl (Wes) Kidwell, Sheldon (Kathy) Shreve and Burl (Lisa) Shreve; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father George Shreve, who passed away December 13, 2004 and her mother Jane Butler Shreve, who passed away June 16, 2020.
