Judy C. (Rhinebarger) Stanton

Judy C. Stanton, 78, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Majestic Care Center. She was born January 26, 1948, in Zanesville to the late Charles and Alice Hambel Rhinebarger. She was a 1966 graduate of West Muskingum High School and was retired from Licking Memorial Hospital. Judy was a member of Central Trinity United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aeries #302, where she was an officer in the Women’s Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Stanton, whom she married April 24, 1976; two sons: Thomas L. (Tess) Reed and Timothy A. Reed; two step sons: Ronald W. Stanton and Paul C. Stanton; a brother Donald R. Rhinebarger; three grandchildren: Ashley (Kody) Pletcher, Emily (Chris) Ross and Cole Reed and nine great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Ronald J. Rhinebarger; and a grandson Tommy Reed Jr.

Calling hours will be held from 10AM to 12PM, Friday, May 22, 2026 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE, OHIO. The funeral service will begin at 12PM in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Jon Exman officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
