Juran Jason Smith, 34, passed away Monday, October 5, 2020. He was born August 11, 1986 in Zanesville to Rodney Smith and Karen Welsh Claypool. Juran worked construction, specializing in swimming pools.

He is survived by his mother Karen Claypool; his fiancée Ashli Nungester; two sons: Hyler Smith and Liam Smith; a bonus daughter Raelyn Nungester-Johnson; his grandmother Beverly Cinquepalmi; a sister Kylene Goldsberry (Natiko) Thomas; a niece Hadlee and a special friend Pam Nungester.

He is preceded in death by his father Rodney Smith; grandfather Gene Welsh; step father Robert T. Claypool; grandparents: Clarence and Shirley Smith; great grandparents: Ottis and Evelyn Sidwell and Lemuel and Inez Welsh; and a special cousin Chad Irvin.

Calling hours will be 1 to 2PM Friday, October 9, 2020 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. The funeral service will begin at 2PM in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Ron Goodling officiating.
