Obituary

Lester D. Dorman, 96 closed his eyes on earth and opened them in heaven on Thursday, June 11, 2020. He was born December 24, 1923 in Eldorado, KS. He served our country and protected our freedom in the United States Navy during World World II. Lester was a baker at the casinos in Nevada and a pastor at the Church of Gospel Ministry. He was a life member of the VFW Post 2555.

He is survived by his daughter Leslee Dunwoody; four grandchildren: Jessica (Dennis) Dipaola, James Mathias, Wesley Willey, Edward Dunwoody; numerous great grandchildren; and a great great granddaughter.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Melody Whissel
