Linda Pitts Obituary

Linda Lee (Hittle) Pitts, 81, of Adamsville completed her earthly journey and was welcomed into Heaven on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. 

She was born in Zanesville on April 2, 1942, to the late Alva and Mae Hittle.  Linda married her high school sweetheart and together she and her husband, Bob, welcomed two daughters.  Linda enjoyed watching her daughters in their activities.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  Linda spent many years as a homemaker and worked in the kitchen at Adamsville Elementary for 20 years.  She was a wonderful cook and baker. She was a member of the Adamsville United Methodist Church.  Linda enjoyed being in card club, singing in the choir, and spending time with her family.       

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Alva and Mae Hittle; her husband, Robert Pitts; two brothers in law: Richard Kullman and Russell Taggart.

She is survived by her two daughters: Jacque (Gerald Davis) Lucas and Lisa (Scott) Ruby; a sister: Carol Taggert; two brothers: Vern (Jean) Hittle and Mike (Cathy) Hittle; five grandchildren: Deidre (Andrew) Miller, Courtney (Chris) Camp, Emma (John) Barr, Addy Ruby, and Aaron (Serra) Ruby; ten great grandchildren: Caleb Camp, Carter Camp, Calvin Camp, Oliver Miller, Wren Miller, Harper Miller, Evie Barr, Ellie Barr, Everett Ruby, and Ross Ruby. 

Calling hours will be 11AM to 1PM on Monday, December 4, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 1PM in the Snouffer Chapel.  Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery in Adamsville.
