ZANESVILLE
Louis Franklin Nelson, 75, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020 at his residence. He was born January 17, 1945 in Zanesville to the late Lewis Frank and Louise Nelson. Louis graduated in the top 10 of his class from Philo High School. He was a legendary machinist and an accomplished woodworker, having been featured for his work in the Zanesville Times Recorder on numerous occasions.
Surviving are his daughters: Teresa (Dale Reed) Nelson and Tammy (David) Reynolds; a brother James Nelson; two sisters: Linda Hittle and Louanna Flemming; and five grandchildren: Tiffany Nelson, Davina Nelson, Shelby Reynolds, Crystal Reynolds and Emmett Reynolds.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister Dixie.
Visitation will be from 4 to 5PM Thursday, August 6, 2020 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Services will begin at 5PM in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastors Walt Gessner and Jamie West officiating.
