Loyd “Buddy” Dean Treadway, 64 passed away peacefully in his wife’s arms on Sunday, October 3, 2021. He was born July 8, 1957 in Marietta to the late Virgil “Bud” Calvin Treadway II and Doris Marie Rummer Treadway. He was a graduate of Fort Frye High School and a member of the FFA, where he gathered his knowledge in horticulture. Buddy was a master carpenter and was previously employed at Malta Manufacturing, Higgins Lumber and Lowe’s. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. His family was his life; he loved his grandchildren and his dogs Mimi and Rosie.
Surviving are his wife Kelly Gillespie Treadway, whom he married December 19, 1981; a son Keith (Bobbie) Treadway; a daughter Sabrina (Todd) Waxler; eight grandchildren: Faith Apperson, Kierra (Charlie Deal) Treadway, Masin Smith, Emma Waxler, Nevaeh Treadway, Jacey Waxler, Paisley Treadway and Kolton Waxler; and great grandchild Layke Deal; his favorite mother in law Peanut (Ruth Stotts); two brothers: David (Sheri) Treadway and Dwight (Tina) Treadway; and several nieces and nephews who he loved and enjoyed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Theresa (Kenny) Gray.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM Thursday, October 7 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. The funeral service will begin at 8PM with Rev. Herb Perry officiating.
