Marian Louise Besser

Marian Louise Besser 87, of Zanesville passed away on Thursday January 25, 2018 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House.

Marian was born in Zanesville on May 28, 1930 to the late Francis and Gladys Smith Williams.  She was a member of Rhema House of Worship in Roseville and The Potters House in Zanesville and enjoyed painting.  Marian taught Junior Church for many years at Central Trinity United Methodist Church in Zanesville and was a friend to all who knew her.

She is survived by her special caregivers Buzz (Jeannie) Sciance and their children Michelle Jutras and Michael (Renetta) Sciance, a special niece Barbara Pride and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harold Besser who passed away on October 29, 2009, a brother Harry Phillip “Pete” Smith and a sister in law Phyllis Roberts.

Calling Hours will be from 5-8pm on Sunday January 28, 2018 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE.  Funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday in the Snouffer Chapel with Rev.
