Marian Louise Erichsen

Marian L. Erichsen, 90 of Zanesville, passed away Sunday December 22, 2024, at the Oaks at Northpointe.  She was born in Zanesville on July 20, 1934, a daughter of the late Vivian L. and Myrtle L. Barker Harris.  Marian worked her career as a Registered Nurse retiring from Bethesda Hospital Surgery and Outpatient Surgery.   She was a 1953 graduate of Lash High School and graduated in 1956 from the University of Toledo School of Nursing.  Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and loved being their Mamaw.

Surviving is her daughter Julia A. Vonkanel (Mark) Winland; two step-sons: Dana C. (Sharon) Erichsen, Michael L. Erichsen; two grandchildren: Devin Erichsen and Sean Erichsen; and two step-grandchildren: Jennifer Kopitke and Shawn Winland; one great grandson Parker Erichsen; three step-greatgrandchildren: Madison Kopitke, Camden Kopitke and Scarlett Winland. Special friend Roma Jenkins who was the sister she never had.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Arthur J. Erichsen Jr. (Manny); her son Richard D. “Rick” Vonkanel Jr. and her beloved dog “Sadie”.

Private graveside services will be held in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
