Mathias Delray Petty

ZANESVILLE

Mathias Delray Petty, 31, passed away Friday, July 29, 2022. He was born April 11, 1991 in Zanesville to Steven Petty and JoEllen “Joni” Rice Petty. Mathias was an entrepreneur, who was very spiritual and an avid reader who was always seeking truth and knowledge. He loved hip hop music and video games, especially Zelda and Halo.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son Thai Hiatt; a brother Zacharie (Molly) Petty and a sister Rachelle (Ashley) Street.

He was preceded in death by his father, Steven Petty, who was the former minister at North Park Church of Christ in Westerville.

A private service will be held.  THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, has the distinct honor of serving the family.
