Pamela Shayne Allbright,78, of Newark formerly of Zanesville went Home to be with the Lord on Saturday March 9, 2024 in Newark surrounded by her family.  She was born July 18, 1945 in Dayton, Ohio to the late William and Marilyn Eppley Poole. Pam was a 1963 graduate of Adamsville High School and a graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Church was a very important part of her life having attended South Zanesville Nazarene, Northside Nazarene, First Church of the Nazarene, Maranatha Bible Church, Westwood Baptist Church, and currently Newark Baptist Temple.

She is survived by her husband Douglas Allbright whom she married August 5, 1966, a son Jonathan (Judy) Allbright, three step-brothers: Stephen (Thais) Ward, Stanley (Cindy) Ward, and Nathan (Dixie) Ward, a step-sister Priscilla (Lemoyne) Pringle, two sisters-in-law: Joyce (Donald) Schmid and Beverly (Reed) Smith, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she will be reunited in Heaven with her step-sister Donna Paggeot.

Pam Lived her life as a follower of her precious Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior
Set a Godly example throughout her life as a faithful daughter, wife, mother,
stepsister, daughter-in-law, aunt and friend.
     Used her gifts, talents and training to serve others in a variety of areas:
Taught special needs children throughout her career in public education.
     Served as organist, pianists and vocalist in her church and in a variety of
other venues.
     Enjoyed entertaining people in her home and wowing them with her amazing
culinary skills
     Maintained a love for books and reading; especially as she read the Bible
through each year.
     Retained a love of shopping for bargains throughout her life and showered her
family and friends with her amazing results
     Shared her insightful sense of humor with those around her and simply made the
world a better place because of her loving, caring spirit.

Visitation will be Wednesday March 13 from 2-4 and 6-8 and one hour prior to services at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE.  Funeral services will be held at 11am on Thursday in the Snouffer Chapel with her step-brother Rev.
