Patricia G. (Gainer) Callihan

Patricia G. Callihan, 98, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. She was born March 14, 1926, to the late Harley and Gladys May Sample Gainer.

Patricia was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Genealogical Society, numerous other genealogy societies and the Historical Society in Columbus. She was a Registered Nurse and was employed by Bethesda Hospital as an Operating Room Supervisor.

She is survived by her loving and dear nieces and nephews: Steven (Becky) Blake, Alan (Melody) Blake, Robert (Diane) Blake, Mary Beth (Jeffrey) Jones, Tamara Haper, Kevin Somers and David (Mary) Gainer; a special great niece Lori (Joe) DeBolt; and sisters in law Becky Callihan, Jeanine (Kenton) Frash and Wanda Marshall.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard N. Callihan, who passed away March 14, 2013; two sisters: Betty Somers and Barbara Blake; and a brother Loyd Gainer.

Calling hours will be held from 11AM to 1PM, Monday, January 27, 2025, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 128 South Seventh Street, Zanesville, Ohio. The funeral will begin at 1PM with Pastor Andrew Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
