Pauline Rose (Baughman) Blackstone, 101, of New Concord, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021 at her home. She was born May 18, 1919 to the late Homer and Alta Baughman of Hanover. In June 1938 she married Vincent Blackstone, who passed away June 7, 1989. Pauline loved to work outside tending to her flowers and she had beautiful flower gardens.

Those of us who will miss her dearly are three sons: David (Carole) Blackstone of New Concord, Jim (Barbara) Blackstone of Rockwall, TX and Mark (Julie) Blackstone of New Concord; four granddaughters: Michele (Randy) Corder, Jennie (Chris) Bordenkircher, Jocie (Wade) McGlothin and Keri (John) Reed; three grandsons: Mike (Mindy) Blackstone, Jason (Luix) Blackstone and Phillip (Stacy) Blackstone; four great granddaughters: Shelby, Carin, Scarlett and Lila; three step great granddaughters: Brittany, Raelisa and Lynsie; two great grandsons: Ethan (Brittany) McGlothin and Mason Blackstone; one great great granddaughter Hadley; and a brother in law Richard Blackstone of Orgonia, OH.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter Judith Ann Reed, who passed away February 15, 2012; a twin brother Paul Daniel Baughman; two sisters: Helen and Hazel; several nieces, nephews, schoolmates and lifelong friends Clarence and Helen Boyd.

Pauline's family would like to thank Central Ohio Hospice for the care that was given to her.

Calling hours will be held 12 to 1PM Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Bloomfield Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will begin at 1PM with Pastor Tim Pollock officiating. Burial will follow in Bloomfield Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
