Rhonda S. Debolt 66, passed away Sunday December 12, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born October 9, 1955 in Coshocton, OH to the late Ralph and Ida Hawthorne Balo. She was a graduate of Riverview High School and worked for 5’B’s in Zanesville. In her early years, she also worked as a caretaker at the Wilds and had an in home day care through the county. Rhonda loved puzzles, painting ceramics and horses. She especially loved her Arabian Horses, miniature horses, miniature donkeys and llamas. She was very involved with the 4-H Equine Program. She had a special spot in her heart for animal rescue. She loved plants and had a green thumb, often times asking her children to bring plants to her from wherever they would visit. Rhonda loved her family, her husband, children and grandchildren, bragging on them to all she knew. She was very proud of them all.
She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 42 years, Clarence Debolt; children, Jamie (Brian) Transki and Sara (Matt) Siemon; Step-children, Barry (Trudy) Debolt and Lisa (Tim) Branstool; grandchildren, Zach Debolt, Chris Debolt, Corey Wilson, Cameron Wilson, Bryden Debolt, Milana Young and Matthew Siemon; and soon to be great mammaw; brothers, Chris (Molly) Balo and Donald Balo; sisters, Iris (Jim) Marcentile, Marilyn (Ken) Fuller and Etha Tatro; longtime friends Cathie Kreager from 4-H and the Wilds and friends Dana (Tom) Warne with whom shared a passion for the miniature horses and donkeys; and her special fur babies Buckaroo and Sadie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandparents, Leo and Margaret Hawthorne and Joe and Elizabeth Balo; a step-son, Jerry Debolt; brothers, Leo Rinehart, Lonnie Rinehart and J.R. Balo; sisters, Vivian Simmons.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022, from 2 to 5PM at the Zanesville Eagles.
