Ricky "Rick" Edward Donnelly

Ricky Edward “Rick” Donnelly, 75, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Willow Haven Care Center. He was born January 19, 1951, in Zanesville to the late Earl and Bernice Hall Donnelly. He was a 1969 graduate of Zanesville High School and retired from CSX, where he was a Railroad Engineer. Rick used to be a dirt track racer, he enjoyed working on cars, was an avid reader and very generous. He was a very active member of Fair Oaks Baptist Church, where he enjoyed attending bible study.

He is survived by his son Jamie Donnelly; two brothers: Patrick Donnelly and Mike Donnelly; a sister Debbie Creeks; grandchildren: Beth (Nick) Westhora, Miranda Donnelly and Jatham Donnelly; and two great grandchildren: August and Dove Westhora.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant brother and sister Sue Ann and Kenny Donnelly; and his best friend Mike Creeks.

The family would like to thank Willow Haven Care Center for their exceptional care of Rick.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 6PM Sunday, June 7 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. The funeral service will begin at 11AM Monday, June 8, 2026, in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Bill Pittman officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
