Rita Mae (Bryan) Sigrist

Rita Mae Sigrist, 87, passed away Monday, June 27, 2022, at Genesis Hospital. She was born January 14, 1935, in Muskingum County to the late Delbert L. and Maxine Wymer Bryan. She was a 1953 graduate of Lash High School. Rita volunteered at Bethesda Hospital and was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, whom she married June 11, 1955, Vincent “Vince” E. Sigrist; a son Craig (Lori) Sigrist; two daughters: Debbie (Jeff) Wheeler and Terri (Dave) Carletti; six grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and a sister Becky (Denny) Jackman.

Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE.  The funeral service will be 11AM on Wednesday, July 6 in the Snouffer Chapel with Father Martin J. Ralko officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
