Robert F. “Crabby” Crabtree, 81 of Frazeysburg passed away Thursday October 9, 2025. He was born August 29, 1944 in Noble County a son of the late Robert and Lila Faye Archer Crabtree. He spent many years as a mechanic having worked at Central Ohio Coal, Luburgh and Sidwell Brothers. He was known for his hard work ethic and always providing for his family.
Crabby was a member of the United Mine Workers and enjoyed watching westerns on television. He enjoyed his morning coffee and donuts and loved to stop and get ice cream.
He is survived by his daughter Angie (Larry) Izer; one granddaughter Heather Izer; one brother Tommy (Connie) Crabtree; brother in laws Mike Wolverton, Elmer (Margaret) Godby and John (Nancy) Godby; sister Kaye (George) Miller; sister in law Cathy Seeley and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Anna Crabtree of 60 years who passed away August 7, 2022; two sons Ronald and Shane Crabtree; two sisters Barbara Wolverton and Penny Curfman and several brother and sister in laws.
Graveside services will be held at 1pm Monday October 13, 2025 in the East Union Cemetery with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. He will be laid to rest beside his wife Anna.
