On the morning of Wednesday, February 10th, 2021, Robert Embree went to be with the Lord at the age of 67 years old. He was born November 7, 1953 to the late Charles and Norma Thompson Embree. He was a 1972 graduate of Morgan High School.
Robert was an amazing man that cared about everyone and never met a stranger. He accepted everyone for who they were and could always make someone feel appreciated. He was the kind of person that if you needed advice or needed someone to listen, he was always there and always willing to listen. His favorite things in life were his family, football and politics.
He is survived by his wife Sally; his two children: Robert and Jessi; his two brothers: Larry and Tim; and sister in law Allie; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Viewing hours will be on Sunday, February 14 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE, OHIO. Additional viewing hours will be on Monday, February 15 from 9:30 to 11AM and the funeral will follow at 11AM in the Snouffer Chapel with Rev. Gordon Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in Williams Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Ohio State University Hospital, Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, and/or the Zanesville Muskingum County Animal Shelter.
