Robert Lee “Bob” Goldsmith, 86 passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at The OSU Wexner Medical Center. He was born July 14, 1933 in Zanesville to the late Sanford and Marie Goldsmith. He was employed as a foreman at Kaiser Aluminum and owner of Bob’s Auto Body Shop. Bob owned several rental properties and enjoyed fishing. He served his country and protected our freedom in the United States Army.

He is survived by his daughters: Susan (Dennis) Jendry and Julia (Gerald Dade) Goldsmith; two sisters: Joyce Sampson and Patty Winters; and a granddaughter Lindsay Goldsmith. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Joan Goldsmith, who passed away March 13, 2020; a sister Geraldine Lacy and his brothers: Sanford “Junior” Goldsmith, Earl “Butch” Goldsmith, Dick Goldsmith and Ronnie Goldsmith.

Calling hours will be from 12-2pm on Friday, May 22, 2020 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral service will follow at 2pm with Rev. Dee Rader officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
