Robert “Uncle Bob” Wayne Edwards, 79, passed away Friday, July 3, 2026, at his residence. He was born June 3, 1947, in Zanesville to the late Leonard and Lucy Mautz Edwards. He was a 1966 graduate of Zanesville High School. Bob served our country and protected our freedom during the Vietnam War in the United States Army. He was the co-owner of Cemenco and a member of the Moose Lodge #867 and VFW Post #1058. Bob enjoyed spending his time going to auctions, finding bargains at Goodwill, cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes, tending his flowers and playing slot machines.
He is survived by his children: Angela (Lee Bollinger) Edwards and Brian (Lisa) Edwards; a brother Keith (Carol) Edwards; a sister Susan (Rick) West; seven grandchildren: Kassidy Bollinger, Taylor Edwards, Sydney Bollinger, Kyliegh Edwards, Avery Bollinger, Colten Bollinger and Hayley Harper; and two great grandchildren: Aliyah Edwards and Kyrie Gibson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Roberta “Bobbie” Fattler Edwards, who passed away January 23, 2012.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. The funeral service will begin at 11AM, Thursday, July 9, 2026, in The Snouffer Chapel with Rev. Mark Combs officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park with full military honors conducted by George Selsam VFW Post #1058.
