Robin Bruce Smart, 70, passed away Thursday March 17, 2022 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born September 23, 1951 in Tyler, Texas to the late John Smart and Vivian Switzer Smart. He retired from Wendy’s New Bakery as a truck driver, and also worked at McGraw Edison where he built transformers and Burnham Boilers as a Pinkerton Guard. He was an active member of the Zanesville Eagles Aerie #302.
He is survived by his wife, Renee Sindeldecker Morris Smart, whom he married September 17, 2016; children, Mindy (Travis) Miller and Matt (Krysten) Smart; step-children, Kristina (Kelly) Elam, Kerilyn (Ray) White and Heidi (Herb) Havens; a grandson Kolland (Sarah) Browning; a great granddaughter, Amara Ellen Browning; step-grandchildren, Michaela Crow, Megan Crow, Morgan Crow, Herbert Havens, Shyann Havens, Kolby Elam and Holly Elam; 5 step great grandchildren; sisters Sheila (Thurman) Harmon and Emma (Kay) Thornton; and a brother, David Smart.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Marilyn June Fenton whom he married in October 9, 1971; and 19 brothers and sisters.

Friends and family will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 on Tuesday March 22, 2022 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 West MILITARY RD. ZANESVILLE, OH 43701.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 23, 2022 at 11 AM at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, with Pastor Jeff Belt officiating. Burial will follow at the Ark Springs Cemetery.
