Roger Thomas McGee, 84, passed away Monday, January 15, 2024, at Genesis Hospital. He was born February 6, 1939, in Zanesville to the late Carl and Theresa Neville McGee. He was a 1957 graduate of Zanesville High School. Roger served our country and protected our freedom in the United States Army.
He is survived by four children: Tamara (Glenn) Conn, Roger (Marria) McGee II, Michelle (Jim) Coleman and Michael (Brenda) McGee; two brothers: Patrick (Karen) McGee and Stephen (Lou-Ann) McGee; three sisters: JoAnn Poole, Carol Browning and Pansy Kiser; sister-in-law Rose McGee; brother-in-law Glenn Wilson; 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Ellen Wilson; two brothers: Dewey McGee and Bill McGee; three brothers in law: Merle Browning, Lawrence Poole and David Kiser; and a sister-in-law Twila McGee.
Friends will be received from 12 to 2PM Saturday, March 2, 2024, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery with full military honors provided by the VFW Post #1058 and American Legion Post #29.
