Sarah Beverly (Bunting) McKelvey, 37, passed away at 9:16am on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, in the Emergency Department at Genesis Healthcare System. She was born to Maureen and Christopher Bunting on September 1, 1986, in Inkster, Michigan. She attended St. Thomas Aquinas School, West Muskingum High School and Zanesville High School. She worked at Just One More Bar and Grill.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Michael O’Donnell; uncle Daniel Von Gunten; brothers born sleeping: Christopher Michael Bunting and Charles Killian Bunting; brother Scott Allen Bunting; and her mother Maureen Bunting.
She is survived by her children: Riley and Colton McKelvey, who were her everything, the light in her world and her whole heart; their father Ryan McKelvey and his mother Diane (John) McGarry; step father Jacob Ross; her twin sister Megan Bunting; her sister Amanda (Dustin) Hayes; her father Christopher (Wyndy) Bunting; maternal grandmother Jane O’Donnell; paternal grandmother Beverly (Jim) Savage; paternal grandfather Ted (Helen) Bunting; nieces and nephews: Carli and Cadence Hayes, Nathan Devoll, Jamison and Jonah Jewell; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Sarah loved going on adventures and picked up every “cool” rock she found. She loved to cook. She also loved listening to heavy metal and hard rock music. She missed her brother and mum so much and we take comfort knowing they are together again. Sarah’s children were the happiest part of her, and she loved them so very much. Sarah would’ve loved everyone to listen to “Birds” by Imagine Dragons.
