Scott Matthew Lee, 49, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Genesis Hospital. He was born March 18, 1976, in Zanesville to James C. Lee and Sandra K. Buchanan. He was a 1995 graduate of Zanesville High School. He worked as a maintenance superintendent at the Muskingum County Courthouse for many years.

Scott enjoyed going to Columbus Blue Jacket games; watching his children play sports; spending time in his backyard and pool; and loved his old Chevy trucks.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Heather Kirby Lee; son Austin Lee; daughter Erin Lee (Seth Wintgens); granddaughter Ana Wintgens; two brothers: Mark (Kelly) Lee and Michael (Carrie) Lee; mother-in-law Melanie (Don) Pagath; father-in-law Lance (Heidi) Kirby; several nieces and nephews; and many family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Calling hours will be from 3 to 7PM, Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. The funeral service will follow at 7PM, with Pastor Keith Taylor officiating. Cremation care has been entrusted to Snouffer Crematory.
