Sharon Zink Obituary

Sharon Ann Zink, 74, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2025, due to an unexpected illness. She was born on August 28, 1950, in Zanesville to the late Leonard Leroy and Patricia Riggs Lyons. She was a 1968 graduate of Tri Valley High School. Sharon retired from Denison University. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She loved her church and church family and enjoyed serving at the church. She also enjoyed making cards. She was an avid Kentucky Wildcats and Ohio State Buckeye fan. She loved her blue 1966 fastback Mustang.

Sharon touched many people over her life. She loved her children and grandchildren very much.

She is survived by her husband Floyd Zink; three sons: Floyd (Jala) Zink III, Bryan (Tracey) Zink and Corey (Amy) Zink; two sisters: Sue (Randy) Wolff and Nancy Fogle; and grandchildren: Mitchell, Charlie, Evie, Ruby, Hudson and Brooklynn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Kevin Alan Lyons.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 3PM, Thursday, July 17, 2025, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. The funeral service will begin at 3PM with Rev. Dr. Steve Dupler officiating. Cremation care has been entrusted to The Snouffer Crematory.
