Susan Beth (Richardson) Nichols

Susan Beth Nichols, 78, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She was born July 26, 1945, in Zanesville, to the late Ernest and Helen Greiner Richardson. She was a Registered Nurse at Bethesda/Genesis for over 50 years. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, sang in the church choir and even wrote a play that was done at the church.

Susan loved to play cards, was a big fan of the Cincinnati Reds, and had given away hundreds of rubber ducks. Her goal of having a house on Buckeye Lake was fulfilled five years ago when they built their house right on the lake. Susan was the life of the crowd, she was fun loving, vivacious and never met a stranger. Having been wheelchair bound for the last five years, we take comfort knowing that she is now dancing with Jesus.

She is survived by her husband Terry Nichols; a son Troy (Lori) Nichols; a brother Jerry Richardson; grandchildren: TJ Nichols (fiancée Rachel Dudas) and Kristen (Michael) Loy; a great granddaughter Harmony; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law Sue Richardson.

Visitation will be from 11AM to 1PM, Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE.  Funeral services will begin at 1PM in The Snouffer Chapel with Rev. Linda Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
