Thearle Wesley “Punk” Wiseman, 68, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Select Specialty Hospital. He was born April 8, 1954, in Zanesville to the late Harold and Ruth Morris Wiseman. He was a 1973 graduate of Sheridan High School. He worked in maintenance for 40 years at Burnham. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, smoking meats and tinkering on his tractors.
Surviving is his wife Eloise Scott Wiseman; two sons: Shawn (Michelle Boyer) Wiseman and Jason (Krista) Wiseman; a daughter Julie Wiseman; brother Rick Wiseman; grandchildren: Baylee Wiseman, Alexis (Shawn) Brister, Kiya Wiseman, Rhian Wiseman, Wesley Wiseman, McKenzie (Cale Spring) Miller and Dalton Miller; two great grandchildren: Ember Phillips and Ava Brister; and his beloved companions David Allen his cat and his German Shepherd Gracie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son Martin Wesley Wiseman.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM Sunday, March 5, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD. Funeral services will be 11AM Monday, March 6, in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Jamie Harrop officiating. Burial will follow in Williams Cemetery.
