Valorey Roxanne Dennis, 66, of New Lexington, went home to be with the Lord and rejoin her husband on Wednesday, March 17, 2021.

She was born on July 19, 1954 in Zanesville to the late Pearl and Ocie VanWay Russell. Valorey grew up in Roseville and spent her entire adult life between Crooksville and New Lexington. Valorey was an avid painter, retired from Fioreware Pottery and was a friend to all who knew her.

She is survived by three children: Tim Dennis, Shellie (Richard) Plant and Darren Dennis; a brother Rick Russell; two sisters: Janice (Jeff) Starlin and Sandie Pettus; brothers in law: Tom (Cindy) Dennis, Jerry (Kay) Dennis and Allan (Carol) Dennis; sisters in law: Bonnie Morgan, Betty Dennis and Melissa Lane; four grandchildren: Karson Dennis, Addy Dennis, Logan (Danielle Vigil) Plant and Lane (Kayla) Plant; and a great grandson Ian Plant.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Robert Eugene Dennis, who passed away on January 22, 2021; a son Robert Eugene Dennis Jr.; four brothers: Larry Russell, Gary Russell, Keith Russell and Greg Russell; a sister in law Mary Jane Evans; four brothers in law: Johnny Dennis, Dave Morgan, George Petus and Daniel Lane.
