Wayne Edward Plum, 80 of Zanesville passed away March 19, 2024, at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. He was born October 31, 1943, in Zanesville a son of the late Virgil Plum and Gertrude M. Smith. He was retired after 30 years of service from Brockway Glass as an operator. Wayne enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting and off roading. He was also an avid golfer and enjoyed playing softball. Throughout the years he was a member of the American Legion and the Eagles. Wayne protected our freedoms while serving in the United States Army.
He is survived by one daughter Melissa (Lee) Wolford and their son Jordan Wolford of Zanesville; the Love of his Life Terisa Plum; one sister Carrie; Special Friends Rick and Kay Smith, Donnie and Vickie German, Randy and Bobbie Harris and his dog “Minnie”.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister Jenny Morosco and one brother Don Gates.
Visitation will be held on Thursday March 21, 2024, from 4-8pm at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 1pm Friday March 22, 2024, in the Snouffer Chapel with Rev. John Sensabaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by George Selsam VFW Post, Zanesville, OH.
