Wendy Michelle Stephens 50 of Zanesville passed away Wednesday September 22, 2021 at her home following a lengthy illness. She was born Feb 3, 1971 in Greenwood Mississippi.
She leaves behind her husband Ronnie “Ron” Stephens; daughters: McKenzie Renee Lawson and Riley Mae Lawson; and one son Conner Stephens all of Zanesville. Beloved daughter of Roy S. and Ada M. Howe of Hohenwald, TN; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many good friends, especially Missy and Holly.
Wendy was proud of being called a “Military Brat”. She started her worldly travels at age 4 months flying half way around the world to Ezmir, Turkey where her father worked with the NATO Forces. Then crisscrossed the United States as a young child and teenager. She also spent eight years in Europe with her military family. As a young adult she sent packages of socks, cookies and candies to our troops in the war zones.
Wendy has spent the last 28 years in Zanesville, OH as a Pre-School Intervention Specialist. Most of all she was a devoted wife and supportive mother to her children.
Friends may call one hour prior to services at 1pm Friday September 24 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE with Pastor Jeff Belt officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
