William “Buddy” B. Norris, 82 passed away Monday, April 26, 2022. He was born August 28, 1939, in Morgan County to the late Blake P. and Freda L. (Smith) Norris. Buddy was a factory worker at Gould National Battery and a security guard for Pinkerton Security Service. He was a member of Wings of Hope Tabernacle, a life member of Disabled American Veterans, enjoyed old cars and served our country, protected our freedom in the United States Army.
Surviving is his wife: Wilma Maxine (Bolitho) Norris; his step son Tim (Tracy) Bolitho; his step grandchildren: Casey and Ely Bolitho; sisters: Bonita (Clayton) Norris, Racy Minerd, Dianna Norris (Pat Mayle); brothers: Frank (Annie) Norris, Ivan (Maryanne) Norris, Jerry (Wanda) Norris and Shannon (Barb) Norris; several nieces and nephews; and two good friends: Bob Gladman and Brittany Walker.
He will be reunited in Heaven by his parents, brother in law Danny Minerd and nephew Ivan “Buster” Norris.
Calling hours will be held 10-12 pm Thursday April 28, 2022, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will follow afterwards at 12 pm in the Chapel with Pastor Jim Workman officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery with full military honors by VFW Post 1058 and American Legion Post 29.
