Thank you for your remembrance of Mom and your sympathy. For Mom, visiting the library was as necessary as shopping for groceries. As I sat with her on the afternoon before she died, I had to smile at the stack of books on her bedside table. For Mom, that was inevitable! She HAD to have books at hand!

Betty, thank you so much for sharing those sweet memories (they were good times!), your sympathy and, especially, your prayers. Mom made the best vegetable beef soup I've ever tasted. I have yet to match it, and I doubt I ever will! Mom continued to cherish the memories of your friendship. It meant so much to her, as it does to all our family.

Sorry for your loss. Jane and Denver were regular library customers here in South Zanesville. After Denver passed away, Jane continued to use the library until she moved. They are both missed.

My heart goes out to all of he family, Paula, Mike, Debbie, Jim and the entire family. I have wonderful memories of Jane & Denver when we lived in McConnelsville so many years ago. There were many times we visited in your home, and your mother and father were always such wonderful hosts. Your mother was a great cook, and we had a lot of nice discussions around the room together. We had gone through some really good times and really rough times together with your family, but through it all our love for each other, the encouragement of our parents kept us all on track! My heart is heavy as I know all of yours are. Part of us goes with our parents when they die, and it can never be replaced. But they live on in our lives, our children's lives, and our memories. Cling to those things, speak of them often, and they will always be with you. My love to all of you, and my sincerest sympathy. We have lost a great lady, but heaven and the angels are rejoicing at her homecoming. Love, Betty Albright-Bistrow
