Joshua Snouffer was born in Zanesville and grew up in McConnelsville. Josh has two children Rebecca who is currently training with The Ohio State Highway Patrol and Lucas who is a Freshman at The Ohio State University pursuing Music education. Josh is a graduate of Morgan High School and a 1996 graduate from The Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science where he served as class President. Josh is a Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer, life insurance agent and a certified crematory operator. He is a member of the West Muskingum Lions Club, Kiwanis Club of Zanesville, Peerless Lodge #591 F.&A.M., Crooksville, Doric Lodge #172 F.&A.M., Deavertown, Scottish Rite Valley of Cambridge, National Rifle Association, Ohio Gun Collector's Association, Fraternal Order of the Eagles #302, the Zanesville Country Club and a member of The Genesis Hospice & Palliative Care Advisory Board. He serves on the Washington Township Fire Department as a fire fighter and President. Josh enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his family.

Funeral Director
Brad McCune was born in Zanesville, OH and raised near Malta Ohio. A 1992 graduate of Morgan High School, where he was active in FFA, and is a Charter Lifetime member of the Morgan FFA Alumni. Graduated Cum Laude in 1997 from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and was the recipient of the Homer D. Leffler Award for Funeral Directing and Counseling. Brad is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in both Ohio and West Virginia; currently serves as President of the Old Steam and Gas Club and the Buckeye Allis Club. Brad enjoys antique tractor pulling and traveling to local, state and national shows with his Allis Chalmers tractors. Brad and his wife Jennifer have one son Alexander.
Funeral Director
Jarrod was born in Zanesville the second son of Larry and Karen Smith Norman. He grew up in McConnelsville and graduated from Morgan High School in 1991. A 1995 graduate of The Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and serves as a Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer and Certified Crematory Operator. Jarrod and his wife Michelle Fritter Norman a 1991 graduate of Philo High School have been married since 1995 and reside in Zanesville.
Office Manager
Mandee Davis was born and raised in Zanesville. She is a 1994 graduate of West Muskingum High School. Mandee resides in Muskingum county with her husband Jason and their daughters: Riley and Addison.
Aftercare Specialist
Born and raised in Zanesville, Becky married Bill Joseph in 1981. They have three sons Andrew, Matthew and Vincent and two daughter in laws, Jenna and Alaina. In 2014 they were blessed with the first of what became four grandsons and one granddaughter who have brought even more joy to their lives.
A graduate of Ohio University Zanesville’s Nursing Program, Becky began her nursing career with Bethesda Hospital in 1979, joining Good Samaritan Hospital in 1980. She continued her service throughout 38 years, retiring from Genesis Hospital in 2016. Retirement didn’t last long; over the past 3 years she has enjoyed working with Northpointe Surgical Suites, and Interim Healthcare Hospice. Becky believes her call to be a nurse has been a gift and privilege given by God to share with others.
Now, as an addition to our funeral home, Becky hopes to share that same compassion and empathy with those who are experiencing the passing of a loved one. Becky’s role will be providing family aftercare, community education and public relations.
Becky’s free time is spent with family and friends. She and her husband are planning several
camping trips to National Parks in the coming year, as well as, spending more
time with grandchildren. When not with
family, Becky enjoys photography and outdoor activities with girlfriends, and
opportunities to serve our community through church missions to Haiti, small
group bible studies, Zanesville Daybreak
Rotary club projects, and activities with the Muskingum County Veterans
Appreciation Foundation.
Family Service Specialist
Jeff Belt was born in Jacksonville, NC while his father was stationed there while in the Marine Corp. and he lived his early years in the state of Virginia. Jeff graduated from Princess Anne High School in Virginia Beach, VA in 1972 and furthered his education at Mount Vernon Bible College, Mount Vernon Nazarene University and United Theological Seminary.
Over the course of his 35 years of pastoral ministry with the United Methodist Church, Jeff served at six different pastoral settings that served 14 churches before retiring in 2019.
In the fall of 2019, Jeff worked with his son in law, Bryan Chandler, at Chandler Funeral Home in Caldwell for a year and a half.
Jeff is married to Debbie and their have four grown children: Krista Hunt, Linda Ajaj, Kimberly Chandler and Trevor Belt; and eight grandchildren.
Jeff's interests are reading, working around his home and playing golf when time allows.
Family Service Specialist
Lucas P. Snouffer is the son of Josh Snouffer. He graduated from Crooksville High School in the spring of 2022 and currently attends The Ohio State University Timashev School of Music. At Ohio State, Lucas Studies Music Education with his primary instrument being Tuba. Lucas is a member of the Arts Scholars program at Ohio State. He is also a Member of The Ohio State University Marching Band, The Best Damn Band In The Land, where he serves as a member of the Student Staff Row working in the Audio/Visual and Multimedia Office. Lucas is projected to graduate in 2026 with a Bachelor of Music Education degree and hopes to get a job as a high school band or choir director.Hair Stylist
Staci is a 1992 graduate of Morgan High School and has been self employed as a stylist for 28 years. She has worked for Snouffer Funeral Home for 7 years.
Staci has three sons: Colby, Flint and Danny. She is an advocate for autism.

Tom Tewksbary was born in Gallipolis and raised in Wellston. He graduated high school in 1965 and went on to receive his Bachelors degree from Rio Grande and a Masters degree from Xavier. He taught social studies and was student council advisor at Morgan High School for 31 years. He had the pleasure of teaching Josh, Brad, Gene and Kathy.
He was married to Joanne Ambrose for 35 years before she passed away in 2005. Tom is married to Katie and together they have five children and several grandchildren.
Tom has been a member of the Lion's Club in Duncan Falls and Zanesville, where he has served as President and held District, Zone and State offices. He has served on the Zoning Board of Appeals for Wayne Township for many years. He is also a member of Washington Township Fire Department and serves as their Secretary/Treasurer.

Jerry Burns was raised in Crooksville and a graduate of Crooksville High School. He married Sue White in 1985 and they reside in Rose Farm. They have three children, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He worked for Fred L. Cannon Funeral Home and Cannon and Cannon Funeral Home in Crooksville. Jerry retired from Crooksville High School after 30+ years.
Jerry is a 50+ member of Peerless Lodge #591, Sons of American Legion Post #222 and a 22 year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #302 Zanesville.
Family Service Specialist
Erin was
born and raised in Zanesville. She
married Scott Webb in 1995, and they have two children: Parker, and Paige.
She is a
graduate of Maysville High School, and also Ohio University where she obtained
her Bachelor’s in Education. Erin
recently retired from Trinity Lutheran Church and Pre-School where she served
as the Christian Education Director.
Erin is
thankful to have been given the opportunity to use her teaching skills to share
the Love and Hope of Christ with others.
She continues to lead a Women’s Bible Study at Trinity Church, where
women of all ages and backgrounds gather together in fellowship!
In her free
time, Erin loves to travel with her family.
She also loves hiking and reading.
Funeral Director Emeritus
Rhonda Tolliver Abele Funeral Director Emeritus was born in Zanesville, and was raised in Roseville. She is a 1976 graduate of Philo High School, a 1999 graduate of Mid-America College of Funeral Service as Valedictorian. She then earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Ottawa University in 2010.
Rhonda has been married to Danny Abele for 46 years, they traveled the country with the US Army for 20 years and ended back in Roseville. The have two children, Cassie (Brandon) and Eric (Andrew). Three grandchildren who are the best thing ever!
Rhonda is member of The American Legion Post 71 Ladies Auxiliary, The Roseville Villigettes Mother’s Club, and is on The Roseville Village Council.
Service has always been a top priority for my family and I am proud that Snouffer Funeral Home carries on that tradition.
